Urea and Melamine
Melamine and Urea are the main chemical which BTC Europe offers for the adhesive, textile and agricultural industry as well as for paper processing and production of thermosets (duroplastics) in the condensation process offering a wide array of properties requested in the production.
Key applications:
- For the manufacture of adhesives for upgrading concrete
- Used in the production of particle glues and to produce wood based panels, e.g. OSB-, MDF, and particle boards
- Applied in the manufacturing of surface glues for non-bearing elements
- Used as lamination, windows, doors, concrete form-lining and plywood
- For load-bearing as timber frame construction
- Is used as impregnating resin for the Laminate Paper processing
