Chelating agents for stabilizing cosmetic preparations

The Edeta® B grades from BTC are aminocarboxilic acids with six functional groups which are able to form complexes. Edeta® B types sequester undesired metal ions in cosmetic preparations, they prevent the precipitation of the salts responsible for water hardness and they protect against rancidity and colour changes caused by heavy metal ions. Edeta® B chelating agents from BTC are used in all kind of cosmetic formulations.
