Neutralizers for Personal Care Products

To set the right pH in cosmetic preparations Neutralizers are used in many types of cosmetic products where the acidity and alkalinity of the ingredients need to be balanced. Neutrol® TE is an eminently suitable neutralizing agent for carbomer resins, e.g. in the production of gels. Gels formulated with Neutrol® TE feature high alcohol compatibility and stimulate a pleasant, non-sticky sensation on the skin. Triethanolamine Care is very pure and fulfills the new requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulations with regard to the diethanolamine content (max 0.5%) and the nitrosamine content (max. 50 ppb). Neutrol® TE and Triethanolamine are used for neutralization in various cosmetic applications.
